Our three admins - Tilly, Ash, and Judith - decided at some point that it would be fun to have a podcast dedicated to the book club. Every month, we release several episodes based around the previous month’s theme (see below for details).
Field Notes
In the first episode of the month, the three hosts discuss the theme in detail from an archaeological and historical perspective, taking into account their varying backgrounds and research experience. For those listeners interested in the archaeology behind the theme.
Book Worms
In the second episode of the month, our hosts consider the theme from a literary standpoint, sharing their opinion of our pick, and also recommending their own readings based on the theme. For those who want to hear more about the book club and general bookish chat.
Beyond Book Club
As a special treat, we’ll sometimes release a special episode that reveals what our hosts are currently reading outside of the book club. For those book dragons who want to add to their hoard and are looking for some recommendations!
